Raising funds for your church heating system

The biggest problem any church faces when it comes to carrying out any building or contract work is always a lack of funding.  If you didn’t manage to secure a church heating interest free payment plans, or get any contribution from your local Diocese, then you might find our money making ideas useful.

1. Enter our competition

2. Hold a village fête

Organising and hosting a local village fair is hard work but can be rewarding. The government has produced a very helpful how-to guide, with all of the information you would need, from planning permission to advertising and rotas. 

3. Host a bake sale

A quintessentially British past time, baking is rewarding not just for the taste buds, but also for the church heating pot. Invite local volunteers to bake, craft and create their most mouth watering cakes, sweets, cookies, muffins pies and buns to sell in the church hall.

4. Organise a charity event

There is a huge variety of fun and exciting charity events that you can organise and host at your church. From bungee jumping to fancy dress, anything goes when it comes to charity!

5. Host wine tasting evenings

Wine tasting is great fun, sociable and educational. All you need is to find a local wine merchant to run the events precedings, a few local enthusiasts and amateurs, and after a couple of glasses everyone will be relaxed
