Reduced Running Costs at Eccles Church!

The Challange

Patricroft Methodist Church, Eccles had issues with high running costs with their existing heating system, therefore contacted Church Heating Specialists with the task of reducing this and installing a more efficient and higher quality heating system. Patricroft Methodist church is used daily by a variety of groups and meeting, so our experts needed to create a heating design that would suit everybody’s needs. The existing heating system consisted of two floor-standing boilers, situated in the boiler house, which had been broken down into sections and removed. Another issue was that the boiler had been converted from oil to gas in the past and created a lot of mess that needed to be kept under control.

The Solution

Church Heating Specialists began work immediately, installing 3 brand new Keston 55 boilers to heat a total of 5 zones throughout the church, as well as removing the outdated fluing system and patching up the existing hole to give a professional, clean finish.

The system was chemically tested before the final commission and three new filter systems were fitted to ensure the system runs clean and clear all year round. The old timers were also removed and replaced with new digital seven day timers that only churchwardens have the key to make alterations.
