Elim Pentecostal Church, London

Pastor Nick Gray contacted the church heating team with the challenge of heating their church with a new 4 zone heating system all of which needed to be controlled remotely, from any location.

The current church heating system was drained down by the church to keep cost down and removed by a local scrap metal recycler. This meant that our specialist church heating engineers had a blank canvas to work from, and were not limited by any pre-existing pipe work or boilers.

Our team got to work straight away, installing the new heating system which consisted of a new wall hung condensing boiler connected to part new and old radiators. All new pipe work was installed to feed the new office areas, main worship area, small hall and new hot water demand. The main church area was the largest space so heating this part of the church would require extra heating. Fan assisted heating was installed in the main church via the new Caspain universal units giving the church full control of either using it as a normal radiator or fan assisted radiator.

A new gas supply was installed by local national grid and this meant a new gas supply was needed. An external gas run was installed at high level in heavy gauge steal pipes and anti vandal wrapping was used. The whole new system was installed in just 6 days making sure the church didn’t go without heating on a Sunday.

Pastor Nick – “A great job and fantastic attitude by all your guys. Early starts, late finishing and not a single issue throughout the works”.
