Purposed Life Church, Wigan

The Solution

The boiler stood around 5ft high by 6ft long and made of half inch steel so removing this took some special cutting equipment. The current church heating wasn’t zoned and was under heated in the main worship area. After looking at the current pipe routes in the church we was able to install a new 4 zone heating system allowing the church to heat all areas of the church independent. This not only means large running reduction cost for the church but also allowing the church to gain better rental gains.

The main worship area was heated by fan assisted radiators that was struggling to heat the church and was in correctly balanced. Installing new higher output units in better positions around the church would give the area a more reliable and comfortable heating system. New wall hung condensing boilers was installed along with a hot water cylinder giving the church some much needed hot water in the toilet areas.

​The existing church system was power flushed out and chemically tested to check its PH levels before it was connected to the new boilers. Wigan purposed church took full advantage of paying for there new heating system over a 2 year interest free term.
