St. Ann’s Church, Manchester
HeatinGlobal are the service and maintenance contractors who provide the Church is kept warm all year round serving the vast amounts of the public who walk through its doors every day. The church is currently heated by two Hanworty boilers situated in the church boiler room that in turn powers the churche’s Cast and steel sectional heating system with cast iron sectional radiators around the lower and upper floors of the church. HeatinGlobal maintain the heating system by stripping down the boilers every year and giving them a full clean out.
The cleaning doesn’t stop there as the rest of the heating system is drained down every year to remove the sludge and rust build up that may have built up in the pipes and radiators. The church system is then power flushed and a chemical testing is completed to ensure the church heating system works correctly throughout the year.
