St John The Divine Church in Romley, London contacted ChurchHeating.co.uk after our engineers completed a heating project at St Marys Church in Ilford.

Various sized Drugasar heaters had been installed in the church, and the client needed advice on if they should be repaired, serviced or replaced. After our engineers performed a free service on the heaters, it was agreed that they all needed to be replaced. The church planned to remove all the pews and wanted to start using this area for children functions so any new heaters needed to be cool case.

A heat loss calculation was performed and it was clear that the church was also under heated. The existing 10kw heaters were replaced with new 16kw fan convection heaters giving the building 45kw more heat. The entire system was rewired and connected onto a new timer control replacing the existing manual control system.

The project was completed in just 2 days and further work is now planned for the church hall.
