Church suffers break in over Christmas

500 litres of heating oil was stolen from the church’s storage tank in an alcohol fuelled one man crime spree.  As well as the church heating oil, the perpetrator also made off with a BMW 5 series to make his escape.  He was later caught by the Buckden police force and sentenced accordingly after being swiftly prosecuted by the local magistrates.The Church Heating Specialists recommend keeping all heater fuel securely locked away, ideally out of sight to eliminate any chance of oportunist theives.  Desperate times call for desperate measures, and with the rising cost of energy, lower incomes and struggling families, some people are resorting to extreme measures.
