Located in the Scottish Highlands, Inverness is the furthest northern city in the United Kingdom.  It is locally known as the capital of the Highlands, and lies on the mouth of the River Ness, which is exactly what it’s name means.  The famous Shakespeare play MacBeth was set here, and has one of the fastest growing populations in Europe.

There are many noteworthy building in the city, including castles, colleges and of course, churches.  Being situated so far up the Northern Hemisphere means the weather drops to some pretty extreme lows, it’s a good job we’re here to make sure the church heating systems are in check!
