Portsmouth is set in the county of Hampshire, on the South coast of England.  Part of the city is on Portsea Island and is the UK’s only island city.  It is situated in inbetween London and Southampton and is one of the most southerly cities.  Famous for its dry dock and port for many world-renowned and spectacular ships, including HMS Warrior.
