Church Heating Sunderland
Located in the North East of England, Sunderland is a coastal city and is part of Tyne-and-Wear, with it’s a more recognisable neighbour – Newcastle, not too far away. Sunderland sits on the mouth of the River Tyne and was originally part of Durham. Sunderland is home to many fabulous churches and church buildings, including St Peter’s Church in Monkwearmouth which was originally a monastery in the 600’s AD.
The North East of England is well known as a mining community, and this is especially true of Sunderland. This is why we encounter so many old fossil-fuelled heating systems in the local churches, many of which need replacing due to their age, running costs and low reliability. We have replaced a number of solid fuel church heating systems in the North East, and we always enjoy our visits to the friendly towns and villages.
