£1000 commission for Facebook user who helps sell church

The converted church features a beautiful mosaic tiled floor, traditional stained glass windows and even the original raised pulpit area, which is being used as a dining room.  There is also almost an acre of land which backs on to a stunning view of the mountains.

The church heating system has also been upgraded from the original old fashioned system to a new, modern and more efficient boiler run system

The church located in Corris, near Machynlleth was originally built in 1898, and can can be found on the very edge of Snowdonia National Park with views of Cadair Idris.  The 19th Century former chapel is now being sold as a home, thanks to a creative use of Facebook and social media.

As with all online marketing strategies, the intention in using friends networks on Facebook is to reach a much wider group of people, who could be the next potential owner.

The couple have tried to sell the property through an estate agent in the traditional way, but with little luck.  The response has been very positive and has been ‘shared’ quite a lot and the post has had a lot of comments, with people saying how beautiful the home is.  The chapel has also been put on Twitter, and the property has secured 4 viewings so far

No only will the person who shares the post with the eventual buyer that they know will receive £1000, but the couple are also offering £500 to the person who shares it to the person who ‘shares’ to the eventual buyer if they don’t know them.
